Genevieve helped our son find his sounds, keep his confidence, and enjoy our Wednesday afternoon appointments with creative games that made the hard work more pleasant. They were warm and welcoming to the other kids I had in tow. Appointments began and ended on time. Communication was clear. Parking was always available in the lot. Billing was easy. Quality of service was beyond my expectations. My son stalled out and made little to no progress in the school provided speech services but made remarkable progress leading to competence once we moved him to private speech therapy. I highly recommend Jessica, Genevieve, and the whole team at Ocean Beach Speech.
Our son has been receiving speech therapy from Jessica for several months and she is absolutely AWESOME! Her approach is very fun and playful and it keeps him engaged the entire time, which is difficult to do! We started with 30 minute sessions and ended up doing 60 minutes because he literally doesn’t want to leave! We’ve made awesome progress since we’ve started in therapy at Ocean Beach Speech. Each session is well structured and effective and we are also given excersizes to continue making improvements at home. I cannot say thank you enough for making speech fun!!!
My son had tremendous growth in his language production over the course of a year working with Jessica. At 18 months we started sessions with him saying 1 word. A year later, he is putting together sentences with 10+ words! The play-based structure of our sessions was a perfect fit for my little one.
